Oscar “Oz” Nava

Oscar Nava (he.him) is a California native who specializes in Performance, Mask and Puppetry, Poetry, and Visual Arts. He received his BA as a double major in Performance Theatre and Economics from Whittier College (2018), followed by his MFA in Ensemble-Based Physical Theatre from Dell’Arte International (2021).

Currently, Oscar is excited to be performing as Hansel in Theatre West’s upcoming Storybook Theatre adaptation of Hansel and Gretel!

You can catch Oscar as a quadruped puppeteer and host for the National History Museum and La Brea Tar Pits, working closely with Dakota and Cali, the museum’s resident triceratops and sabertooth cat.
